Periodontics
The supporting structures of the teeth.
Periodontics is the specialism of the gums, the bone that holds the teeth, and the soft tissue between. We diagnose and treat periodontal disease at every stage, place dental implants where teeth have been lost, and perform plastic surgery on the gums where shape or coverage needs to change.
Gum disease
Bleeding gums, deep pockets, recession, eventual loose teeth. Diagnosis and management from early gingivitis through advanced periodontitis.
Dental implants
Specialist implant placement, including the aesthetic zone and cases that require bone grafting or sinus floor elevation.
Periodontal plastic surgery
Gum grafts for recession, crown lengthening, gummy-smile correction, and other soft-tissue procedures.
Periodontal maintenance
Structured long-term care after active treatment, on a 3 to 6-month recall depending on risk profile.

Specialist care
Personalised treatment in a calm, specialist environment.
How we work
Specialist by training, collaborative by design.
Both doctors completed a four-year full-time specialist programme in Oral Medicine and Periodontics at the University of Pretoria. We see patients on referral from general dentists and directly, and we work in partnership with your dentist for ongoing care. After active treatment, structured maintenance keeps the result.
